In a May 2026 write-up, Gerald Reisinger describes making a white-on-black pen plot with a Sekonic SPL-470. His process starts with a 3D model, converts it to a heightmap, and extracts contour lines.

The finished work is a reconstruction through several tools, rather than a facsimile of Craft’s original observations. Reisinger publishes process images, files, and a video of the machine drawing the piece.
