Adam J. Kurtz’s 2013 parody added a very simple question to the familiar graphic. Laughing Squid documented the design in May that year.
The joke depends on the image having a life beyond the album. The graphic is recognisable enough to sell a shirt even when its meaning is missing. That gap between recognition and knowledge is part of what this archive follows.
